Before becoming a freelance journalist, I was in magazine publishing for 10 years. I used to work in New York City at—in backward chronological order—Fitness, Shape, Vanity Fair, Jane, and Us Weekly. Now I live in Portland, Oregon, where I pet a lot of dogs and write a lot of stories. I also write and edit for some of the world’s biggest brands.
